Miramar Polyclinics Project (Juaneda Assistance Network)

The Miramar polyclinics (acquired by the Juaneda Healthcare Network, one of the largest companies in the healthcare sector, it is currently the main group in the Balearic Islands in the field of private healthcare) has hospital beds and healthcare services that offer a wide catalog of possibilities: physiotherapy, radiology , hospitals, clinics, dental care and a long etcetera that generates a comprehensive experience for the preservation of the health and state of well-being of its patients and users, with a network of centers in constant growth.

 

Customer need

 

With a wide network of workers and collaborating professionals and companies and due to its vocation for continuous improvement, the Technicalization and training of your staff is your number one priority. Through an annual program, with a clear roadmap, the know-how of the Miramar Polyclinics – Juaneda Assistance Network increases exponentially. In particular, four clear objectives were set:

 

  • Train HR Department personnel to be responsible for implementing and maintaining an Equality Plan and raising awareness among the workforce. With increasing numbers of visits to the different centers, it is essential to raise awareness.
  • Organize health training for Miramar Polyclinics staff: When dealing with what is most valuable, human lives, staff training is a priority. Furthermore, continuous improvements in the different fields of medicine mean that obsolescence in this field is measured in weeks instead of years or months as in other productive areas.
  • Improve care for foreign patients and family members: With a strong presence of residential tourism throughout the year, a high percentage of the population uses other languages to communicate, so providing language knowledge to professionals in the sector is a priority.
  • Improve the skills and competencies of non-healthcare personnel: fruit of the need to take care of every detail and considering that a person's passage through a hospital facility has many facets (cleanliness, dealing with the public, security, etc.), it is important to give the best of oneself, given that quality of a service is only as strong as its weakest link.

Design of a three-year training plan in which training actions are developed in the following areas:

  • HR Management, Equality.
  • Languages (reception and patient care in English...).
  • Health training (Life support, antibiotic therapy, electrocardiography...).
  • Personal skills, office automation and ICT competencies.
