Currently, we have seen how the rise of training in companies  has emerged and has gained the necessary importance to become a powerful industry in development and expansion. Society has been advancing in great strides, but the technological evolution, with respect to society, could be said to have been much greater, so, thanks to this, notable improvements have been produced in the field of training that have made make technology more accessible to everyone, reducing the digital divide. In this case, it is the role of the pedagogue, as part of the company's current staff, to help make the organization more productive and sustainable, programming and developing training actions so that this is understood as an investment of medium-sized money. long term.

 

E-learning is one of the most popular words in the field of education, and especially training. In this type of training, the learning focuses on the part of the students have increased. It offers many advantages among which we can mention:

 

  • Its great interactive potential between teacher and students.
  • Flexibility in educational times and spaces.
  • Collaborative learning between virtual communities of teachers and students.

 

Among the content tools that are most frequently used on the market we can mention: eXelearning and Storyline. The first is an open source educational content creation tool, that is, free. Among its uses, the use of content trees, interactive self-assessment activities and iDevice stands out, in order to highlight important content. It is easily exportable to HTML formats and SCORM. On the other hand, Articulate is also a content creation tool that allows you to work through “scenes” and “layers” by jumping between them. In addition, it has animations and is more interactive than the previous one, and richer from a pedagogical point of view thanks to the amount of resources it offers. But, on the contrary, it takes a lot of time and money to create content with this tool. We must not forget that it is a tool for training purposes, so we cannot be fooled by the visual appearance, which is obviously much more attractive, but we must find an adequate and correct pedagogical meaning for this content, so the work of the professional, in this case, the pedagogue, is essential to design it.

 

To conclude, the role of the pedagogue in the company is fundamental, even more so in the knowledge society, in which learning and training are essential. Companies have realized that training is a necessary instrument in these, considered as a competitive advantage essential to differentiate itself from the rest of the competitors in its own sector and in order to recycle and update workers' knowledge on a continuous basis to face the challenges of the future.
