Mainjobs, a leading company in technological and educational innovation, has been awarded the project for the evolutionary development and maintenance of the accreditation platform for Digital Teaching Competence (Acredita CDD).
This project, promoted by the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF), which is part of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, aims to provide non-university educational teachers with a tool to certify their level of digital skills, in accordance with the Reference Framework for Digital Teaching Competence.
Assessing teachers' digital skills
The Acredita CDD platform will allow teachers to assess their digital skills, facilitating the obtaining of an official certification that accredits their level of digital competence. In addition, INTEF has made the platform available to the autonomous communities that wish to use it, incorporating multilingual functionalities for those that have co-official languages.
This project is part of the digitalisation of the Spanish education system, a priority reflected in the Digital Agenda 2025 and the National Digital Skills Plan.
The Digitalization and Digital Skills Plan of the Education System (Plan #DigEdu) aims to advance the digitalization of education, both in the provision of technological means and in the effective integration of technologies in teaching and learning processes.
Digitalisation in the Spanish education sector has seen significant progress in recent years. According to data from the Ministry of Education, 63.5% of public centres and 67.4% of private centres have interactive digital systems, such as digital whiteboards and interactive panels.
However, challenges remain, such as the need for adequate training for teachers in digital skills. The Digital Competence Reference Framework for Teachers, based on the European DigCompEdu framework, establishes the specific digital skills required for the teaching profession in Spain.
Mainjobs' participation in this strategic project reinforces its commitment to excellence in technological and educational innovation, consolidating its position as a technological partner in the field of diagnosis and certification of digital skills.
This milestone allows Mainjobs to collaborate directly with non-university teaching staff and with the Digital Teaching Competence Reference Framework, contributing to the advancement of digitalisation in the Spanish education system.
